I slept last night around 2ish am and woke up at 5 am to catch a flight. What I was doing up so late probably was not a good thing. :/
I barely made to the airport in time and was the last person entering the plane, while everyone else was comfortably seated waiting to be air borne !. Although I was half asleep but the joy of gettting on time and catching the plane was enough to give me strength to find my seat.
I found a strong built redneck 6 feet tall guy already sitting on my seat I waited next to him without saying anything. He smiled and said "Do you have seat 14 A ? " I replied ," Yes , I have this number ".
"I thought everyone else is already boarded and I can take it as it was vacant" , he said. Rather than extending my approval to him so that he can continue sitting on my seat and I can sit on his instead, I was :| face. Not that I was not willing to sit on his seat instead, I was so tired and hundreds of other things running in my mind at that moment, did not allow me to search or care where his seat was. All I wanted was to get my seat.
Finally I got my seat, took off my sweater and started reading Chris Plekenpol's newly released book. I can read Chris even on an 18 hour non-stop flight too, his style and expression totally speak right deep inside to my head. (btw, thats what I did on my last International travel "Stumbling souls, Is love enough ?" this book kept me awake for whole 12 hours on the plane).
So here I am reading Chris' new book on my gifted kindle, I just finished 1.5 chapters and I hear this annoucement, "Please turn off all electronic devices, so that we can prepare for take off ".
Since I was tired from last night as well, I closed my eyes ,wanted to catch some sleep. For 15 minutes or so, weird dreams from last night kept on roaming around my mind. I could not sleep for a long time. I woke up drank some tomato juice..lol yes it is a fruit. It made me feel I am still alive and exist on this earth.
Now I knew I could not go back to sleep again , I had nothing to do other than sitting idle , listen to music or be bored, but I knew what I wanted to do. Since that afternoon when I heard , "Why do you always ignore me ? " These words were coming back and again in my mind since last week. So , here I ended up started writing some of my thoughts on this "Strange" behaviour of mine !
Words have power and written words become more powerful than spoken at times. So I feel its better to write rather than speak. Now in the following lines what I would like to present is another view regarding why and how a Person ignores another specific Person.
This view is popularly accepted in the game know as crush-crush as well, if you know what game it is !!!
This view is different from heuristic , socially accepted view of ignoring others where people ignore others only, if they have -ve emotions for others.
There is no simple way to explain this. We all are different ,look and treat things differently. However we all have more in common than differences when it comes to emotions.
Let me start off with an analogy, it can be weird but there is no best way to explain what kind of thinking go inside of our mind without using an analogy.
If you get something or find some one , what you always wanted what would you do ? Simple answer is: I don't know about you, but I will jump with joy :). But what if you find out, that the reason for which you are jumping with joy is short lived or it cannot be yours.
You can just see that subject but cannot have it. What would be a reasonable response then ??
I don't know about others ,what I would do is, I will say its better to think practically and keep moving try not to think much about your source of happiness too much, as you cannot have it therefore the more you will think it will cause more regret.
Now the same rule is applied to people and friendships as well. If you see some one and feel really happy and excited about ,but if you know it is just one way traffic/feeling . A fear takes place in your mind with this question, " If this happiness is short lived, why to go after it , why not to ignore and remain composed and stable".
Two people A and B know each other. A finds B , feels happy and excited but if A is aware of the fact , this happiness is short lived and fleeting and A cannot secure the happiness found in B as it is one sided. Then, A would try to avoid encounter with B as much as possible to keep itself strong and carefree. Because here we do not know and have not mentioned how much strong intention A may have for B.
Apparently A may ignore B at times. What is the real reason behind it, who knows ? You cannot tell or judge unless you know what are the intentions and emotions of A ?
