Guru & Guassian !

Last week, me and my Guru, were having a chit chat online on a fine afternoon. Before going further, a brief about my exceptional Guru. He is such a fine person, whenever we talk together..we end up having some positive thoughts in mind about life and its ways.I have never met such a person..who will always be open for any discussion and he always keep on encouraging you whatever input or dumb ideas or questions you have. He will always be patient and tolerant and will converge your irrelevant discussion into a purposeful talk. I like his approach toward life. He will always be prepared for the best and at the same time he will always be depending on HIM. He gives full input to whatever he does and even after winning laurels , the credit from his side goes to HIM. What a follower !, I must say.
Anyways now back to the main thing. I assume all those people out there familiar with probability theory, communications or any other estimation or mathematical discipline know the Bell curve and its applications.... So just imagine and realize Isn't life also like a Gaussian curve ? The point from where it starts and when it ends are both at the same level/axis, but the difference it can make between the two points .....can you estimate ?.Yes you can ,provided you know what is your mean and variance, that's pretty much all you need. From no where , negative infinity you come from, and if you realize the truth and purpose of your existence , one can go to positive infinity :). The bell part can be symbolized like the heights attained by an individual and it all depends on your mean ;) where your mean is, what is your variation, how much probability or percentage you can deviate from the path you are supposed to go on. All this is pretty much on the same pattern of life.
Now a moment of truth, for all those mathematical geeks, just a quick questions. Is it just a coincidence or explicitly defined by nature that in both rational and irrational ways, Bell curve is justified for all days ?

Competition ? by default ? or ?

Everywhere you look around, ...around yourself , either you are on road, at school, at work or wherever,one would find that people are always in a constant struggle not only to go ahead of others, but even to go beyond their imagination .
Those who are not so obsessed by this competition phobia are considered careless or slow learner by the society. I wonder how this competition entity came into existence ? If we talk from Genesis chapter 4, for the first time competition started there among the two brothers (As for secular and free thinker readers, I know what is your point after this ,you would comment what was the reason or force behind this competition). I think interested readers understand what does it mean !, but HE provides all the answers.
